IT Director

We are looking for a detail-oriented technician who really knows their stuff when it comes to managing a small business from the inside starting with quality control. We need you to take care of all the core “behind the scenes" assessments, reports and auditing that make a business network run smoothly, so our customers can focus on doing their jobs instead of worrying about IT. We'll also be looking to you for the documentation and training of Paragus' best practices and provide 1-on-1 training for our staff on our processes and tools.

Summary Job Description

This role manages the day-to-day proactive maintenance toward the internal success of the company- monitoring system performance, performing assessments, training staff, tools maintenance as well as network and security assessments for our clients. In addition, this role will ensure that all best practices documentation is first class.


  • Performs pre-sales network assessments
  • Performs simulated phishing attacks
  • Performs compliance assessments such as HIPAA, PCI, CMR-17
  • Maintains our internal tools (monitoring, documentation, etc.)
  • Provides auditing and quality control as it relates to our clients' networks
  • Provides reporting around issues, renewals, asset health etc.
  • Creates and maintains the documentation of our best practices
  • Provides group and 1-on-1 training on our best practices
  • Assists in the management of our internal network


  • 4+ years of prior technical experience required
  • Experience working with small-mid sized growing tech company building tools and training to scale
  • Managed Service Provider experience a plus
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint, etc.) required
  • Hands on experience with running audits and providing constructive, accurate reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on projects to completion
  • Ability to work independently, prioritizes existing projects, and proactively determine areas requiring additional attention, monitoring, or maintenance
  • Strong documentation, inter-personal, communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Experience with training design and execution
