HR Manager

Summary Job Description

The Human Resources Manager works under direction of company leadership to oversee and execute the day to day operation of all processes that enable Paragus to have healthy, effective, and committed partners. From coordinating our recruiting and hiring, to administering benefits, to assisting in the oversight of our professional development programs, to bringing joy to our staff through events, perks and recognition, the HR Manager plays a key role in ensuring our overall staff morale and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Implements and manages organizational HR processes; ensuring clear documentation, and consistent application of standardized processes for all HR functions
  • Bi-weekly payroll
  • Benefits administration
  • Full-cycle recruitment including managing recruitment strategies that build our pipeline
  • Maintains compliance with legal, regulatory, and other standards applicable to its HR operations
  • Acts as a key resource for employee relations
  • Works with Leadership and Management Teams to implement training and professional development strategies
  • Manages administrative staff to implement processes and deliver exceptional customer and partner experiences
  • Works under Leadership Team direction and provides input to them regarding organizational decisions that impact the HR function
  • Identifies and implements systems to create efficiencies and provide timely business intelligence
  • Acts as cultural attaché and brings positive, fun experiences to staff through creative events and perks

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience required
  • SHRM-CP certification expected, SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to provide superior internal and external customer service
  • Ability to represent and market the company to potential candidates and the larger community
  • Capable of managing a variety of tasks and effectively assessing priority and urgency of each
  • Must possess the courage to speak your mind, the diplomacy to do so constructively, and the humility to accept when you’re wrong
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Must be willing to speak up to identify changes that are in the best interest of the business
